3 Days Two Nights Sailing and Camping
An unBelizeable 3 days packed with adventure!
CAYE CAULKER TO GOFF’S CAYE OR STARFISH ISLAND
The tour departs Caye Caulker at 9:00 AM, sailing to our first snorkel stop where guests get to explore and help the crew catch some lobster (seasonal) for dinner – this is your chance to say you snagged your own dinner. Next, we cruise to Miami Beach, a stunning sandbar with turquoise waters, where lunch is served beachside, giving you time to relax, swim and take in the natural beauty. From there, we sail to the historic St. George’s Caye for some light exploring and a brief historical overview. We’ll wrap up the afternoon with one final snorkel at Spanish Bay before making our way to the island.
By late afternoon, we arrive at Goff’s Caye or Starfish Island, where camp is set, the bar opens and fresh ceviche is served just as the sun sets over the Caribbean Sea. Our chef then prepares our Catch-of-the-Day Dinner, which is served family-style, featuring a variety of local dishes: freshly caught seafood, meats, and sides packed with Caribbean flavor. The rest of the night is spent under the stars, with incredible stargazing and, on darker nights, glowing bioluminescence.
SAIL TO RENDEZVOUS CAYE
We start the day on island time with fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate, yogurt, granola, and fruit laid out. A full Belizean breakfast follows, after which we break down camp. Guests can enjoy an early morning swim before we set sail around 8:30/9:00 AM for a full day of snorkeling and island hopping. As we cruise to our first stop, relax on deck or take a morning nap while we sail. The day includes three snorkel stops: one at English Caye, as well as two at surrounding vibrant reef sites – two before lunch and one in the afternoon – with lunch prepared and served on board between stops.
By late afternoon, we arrive at Rendezvous Caye, where tents are set and the bar opens. Enjoy fresh ceviche at sunset, then take advantage of the island’s unique location directly on the reef, making it perfect for swimming or snorkeling straight off the island. As the evening winds down, guests are invited to relax, enjoy a drink, and freshen up before our family-style island dinner. After dinner, take in more exceptional stargazing, unwind under the stars, or fall asleep to the soothing sound of the sea.
SAIL TO TOBACCO CAYE & DEPARTURE
We begin the morning with breakfast served on the island, the same relaxed island spread enjoyed on Day 2. After breaking down camp, we depart around 9:00 AM for our final sail. The morning includes one last snorkel stop, followed by lunch prepared and served on board as we make our way toward Tobacco Caye. Upon arrival, guests can disembark at Tobacco Caye and transfer by speedboat to Dangriga, or choose to extend their stay with an overnight stay on Tobacco Caye. Guests continuing on to Dangriga will arrive with ample time to travel onward to other destinations within Belize, making for a smooth and flexible end to the journey.
